Porous materials including microporous, mesoporous and macroporous materials have attracted much attention because they contribute to the solution of the issues of energy, resources and environment, establishing a sustainable society.

The International Symposium on Porous Materials (ISPM) is intended to provide a forum for researchers in the world, especially students, to discuss recent developments in research and applications of porous materials. We have successfully and annually organized the ISPM2019, ISPM2020, ISPM2021, ISPM2022, ISPM2023, ISPM2024, and ISPM2025.

We are pleased to announce that the 33rd Zeolite Summer School, organized by the Japan Zeolite Association, will be jointly held with the 8th International Symposium on Porous Materials (ISPM2026) in Kamakura.

The symposium will consist of general oral and poster presentations by young researchers as well as invited lectures, and aim at promoting the fundamental and applied studies on porous materials. We hope that this symposium will be the start of strengthening the relationship among the participants and building a next generation network.
